3D Food Printers

As time goes on, technology advances and, with them, 3D printers.

Probably everyone has already heard of 3D printers. But maybe not everyone knows about food 3D printers. These printers can actually print things like icing on a cake, pizzas, cupcakes, etc. Although they are now only available for industries or shows, they will soon be available to anyone. They work almost the exact same way than a normal 3D printer, but the materials are different. Just choose the material you want the printer to print with (icing, pizza dough…) and insert it in the container of the printer. Then design what you want the printer to print on a computer and transfer it to the printer. Now, just wait for the final result to come out. Some of them, like foodini, will be available in less than one year to public. You insert the food in one of the capsules, you print your design, you cook the food if necessary and you enjoy! No more cooking where you have to wash all the plates, pans, etc. Additionally, you can do something else while the printer does the work for you. You can give your food any kind of design, from a dinosaur to a birthday cake. But that does not mean that you cannot cook anymore. Cooking is a hobby for a lot of people in the world and I think homemade food tastes better than printed food. But when you come back from work and you need to make dinner fast, the 3D food printer is a good solution.

So, are you for or against 3D food printers? Will you buy it when it comes out? Comment so we know! And feel free to like the post ;). It’s just one click for you but it helps us a lot.
